Kids Create Whistler Village - In Person Weekly Classes Tuesday's: Ages 6-8 and 8-10 yrs

Join me for a fun 45 minute creative, adventure in Whistler Village at the Art Centre.
Creativity is a great way for kids to learn how to express themselves, it encourages hand-eye coordination, fosters imagination and play, and builds confidence through joy and curiosity.
Participants will learn about colours, shapes and mark-making while they explore skills and learn to paint something new each week.
AGE GROUPS
There are 2 different age groups - Please note that the ages 8-10 will be learning a more advanced version of the outlines below. (8 year olds can go in either class depending on skill level and if it makes more sense with a sibling)
CLASS SIZE
This is a small class size limited to just 8 kids.
ALL PROJECT SUPPLIES ARE INCLUDED
Canvas, paint, brushes, pallet, washout containers, reference materials etc.
OTHER SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED
(these can all be purchased at Garibaldi Graphics in Whistler):
- Pencil, sharpener and Eraser
- Black ink pen
- Sketch book or Sketch pad
WHAT WILL WE LEARN ABOUT
On week one we will have a fun drawing and collage exercise and will get to know each other. Once I get an idea from the kids what they are interested in I will build the rest of the 3 week programming which may include water colour painting, mixed media and acrylic painting projects. Each group of kids is different and I have found that this is the best way to structure my lessons.
LOCATION:
These classes will all be held at the Maury Young Arts Centre in Whistler Village
PLEASE NOTE: I will need a minimum of 5 kids to run each of these lessons and the classes may be combined if there are less kids.
