Whistler Artist: Andrea Mueller
Andrea Mueller is a Contemporary Canadian Artist, Painter and Art Instructor located in Whistler, British Columbia. Voted Whistlers favourite artist for 2018 and the 2018/2019 Whistler Blackckomb feature artist of the year. Her art work has been collected by people around the World. Her paintings and mixed media work can be found in collections in Canada, United States of America, Germany, Austria, Sweden, England, Australia, Russia and Japan.
She grew up surrounded by nature and animals. She lived in a small community outside of Toronto, Ontario and her holidays were spent on a family farm near Northbay. Her grandfather was a self taught artist and as a child Andrea was inspied by his paintings of Canadian Landscapes and she knew she also wanted to be an artist. Andrea attended the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto Ontario and gradudated with the Printmaking Award of Fine Art.
