Immerse yourself in a day of painting and scenic inspiration by the lake! In this beginner-friendly workshop. Create a glowing forest trail painting while learning how to use warm and cool tones to build light and shadow. You’ll discover the importance of underpainting to establish depth and mood before applying your first layers of color. You’ll mix your own natural greens and build depth with color temperature. We'll also introduce glazing techniques to enhance richness and luminosity in your work.
Enjoy a break by the lake, with the option to relax, or have lunch outdoors in the beautiful surroundings of The Point.
EXPERIENCE: This course is perfect for those with some painting, sketching, or mixed media experience. Basic color mixing knowledge is required (if you are a beginner but have been to one of my Paint and Sips than this course is also for you).
