Beginner Painting Basics Workshop
We had a great time in this class last fall so I thought I would run it again.
Can’t even draw a stick figure? Feel clueless with a paintbrush? Always end up with muddy colours?
Perfect — this class is for you.
In this relaxed and fun intro workshop, we’ll cover painting essentials: what brushes to use, how much water to add (and when), how to mix colours cleanly, and basic colour theory and composition. Through a series of creative exercises, you’ll build foundational skills without the pressure of actually working on a painting.
What to bring: A sketchbook (8.5"x11" or larger). Available at Garibaldi Graphics or online.
Included Supplies: Acrylic paper and paint (for mixing), Brushes, take away hand out.
