Aphrodisiac - Canvas and Paper Prints
Historically rhino populations were decimated by uncontrolled trophy hunting during the European colonial era. These days the main threat to the surviving rhinos comes from the illegal rhino horn trade between Africa and Asia. The rhino horn was considered as an aphrodisiac. This print is based on the original painting by Andrea from her 'Endangered Beauty' collection. A collection of animals, currently endangered due to habitat loss, human - animal conflict and poaching.
