Whistler Blackcomb - Canvas and Paper Prints
I created the Whistler Blackcomb Painting as part of a collection of three iconic Whistler images. The entire collection includes the Whisky Jack, Black Bear and Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Each one is iconic to Whistler. I can picture this in any ones home from a mountain cabin to a concreate loft in the city,
All prints (both canvas and paper) in this collection are made to order. Please allow 2 days processing time and 2 -3 weeks for printing, shipping and handling.
THE STORY:
Whistler has such a fun history with so many amazing characters passing through and sticking around. I first heard the term "the bubble" when I came here at 16 years old. When I was 18 I came back for a summer and swore I would never get caught in the bubble. I moved here in 2004 and have been "trapped" here ever since. What a beautiful wonderful place to be trapped in. It's taken me this long to paint the mountains. I wanted to create an image that expressed my passion for this town through colour and brush strokes and share the exuberance of the people who live here. I love all of the seasons in Whistler and so I wanted the colours to be an expression of all the seasons. I wanted this to be an art piece but wanted to make sure that you could still find your favorite ski run.
STUDIO EDITION PRINTS:
A limited selection of best selling prints are available in two sizes 8.5x11 and 16x20". Prints are shipped directly from the printer via standard post. Tracking information is not provided. Expect your print to arrive in 10-15 business days.
Method: Professionally printed using a traditional inkjet printer method, printed on 80lb card stock.
COLLECTORS EDITION PRINTS:
A full line of archival quality prints on canvas and paper with a wide range of size options. Each print is made to order and ship directly from the printer. This is a higher quality product and therefore the timeline is between 15-20 business days for arrival. Tracking information is not provided.
Method: Printed using a high quality giclee printing technique using archival inks to print on superior quality canvas material and Moab Rag Paper. Larger sizes may be available. For more information please send me and e-mail.
Canvases: A protective UV coating is applied to keep your canvas looking like new (it is still recommend that you hang it out of direct sunlight). It is then wrapped onto wooden stretcher bars with a hanging wire attached to the back, ready to hang on the wall. No frame is included.
Paper Prints: PLEASE NOTE* All paper prints come with a 2" white border around them. The sizes above do NOT include the white border and are the size of the image itself. The print you receive will be on Moab Paper which is an archival, acid- and lignin-free paper offers an expanded color gamut, maximum contrast and high ink load that is compatible with pigment inks. Prints arrive either rolled or in a box (this is determined by the printing company). No Frame is included.

Each print is a custom order. Please allow 10-15 business days for printing and processing. It is then shipped ( shipping time varies based on your location). Tracking information for shipments are not included.
